Handmade Crocheted Irish Rose Necklace
Prototype for my handmade, crocheted Irish Rose Necklace is finally ready. It took me a little bit to figure out the vessel I had to build for holding the roses. The center of the flower had to be see-thru, plus add a little more weight to the crocheted part.
I could just picture myself out and about on a windy day with the beautious necklace flapping at my face... but wait...
We might have a winner here, the vessel is copper, sturdy but not heavy and I like the way you can see through the roses. I'm very pleased how this is coming along. Brass is an option too for the vessel, back to the drawing board... need more flowers.
PS. Went out on a stroll, 25 miles per hour wind and lookin' good... necklace tested & seal of approval given!
